Happy April!
Nice job on your reading this month! And on all the re-reads, too! I really want to get to a point in my life where I can re-read my favorites, without all of my newer books taunting me. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Brandie.
DeleteHaha - new books can be a lot more tempting than ones you've already read. Rereading is always an interesting experience though.
The anxiety book sounds fascinating! It is definitely a plague of my family, I would be interested in reading what the book says about it. :) Also, that list of books: crippling depression - Joyce Carol Oates! Seriously. I love her work, but can only read it in small doses. I once did a reading marathon of her books and it was deeply disturbing.
ReplyDeleteI picked up the anxiety book on a whim of sorts, but my thought process was that I enjoyed the book Quiet (being an introvert) and the in depth look was fascinating and insightful, so perhaps the same will be said for this one (as an anxiety sufferer). We shall see!!
DeleteI'll have to look in to Joyce Carol Oates - thanks for the rec.
It looks like you had a great reading month. Thanks for giving my crippling depression book list a shout-out. I had a lot of fun writing it. Happy April!

ReplyDeleteAnd to you!!
DeleteIt's your first 24 Hour Readathon?!? Hooray! It's going to be so much fun. Have you started thinking about what you want to read?
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to it. I don't think I'm quite prepared for it though. Haha!
DeleteYes! I've been forward thinking on the reading material side of it. I've got a couple of books in mind, whether they stick is another story!
Thanks for sharing this great information..
