Swimming Lessons and Small Great Things are both on my TBR pile so looking forward to hearing what you think of them both. I got the Jodi Picoult as an ARC so I guess I should read it soon!
They are two books that have a lot of talk surrounding them at the moment so I'm trying to avoid a lot of that until I've finished them. Small Great Things is proving to be a powerful read so far.
I love that cover on Small Great Things. I didn't love it as much as most, but still thought it was very good. Swimming Lessons will be one of my next read, too!
Although very muted, I think this cover of Small Great Things is really eye catching - my favourite of the bunch I've seen.
I'm super excited about Swimming Lessons, but I'm at that excited stage where I can't wait but I'm also putting off delving in fully because I'm that keen and hopes are high etc. I hope you enjoy Swimming Lessons!
I saw your post on Paddington - I'm planning on commenting later when I work through my bloglovin' feed. I'm so behind on blogs at the moment - boo!! I've heard some things hear and there about Brown Girl Dreaming. I hope you have a wonderful week, reading and otherwise!
This one is on my shelf, I won it which was great. Looking forward to it later in the year. Heard some who loved it and some who thought otherwise but I know will be well written.
I love that cover version of "Small Great Things"! I haven't read a Jodi Picoult book in a while (though I own a ton of them) but I might just have to make time for that one. I'm excited to read "Swimming Lessons"! I really enjoyed Fuller's first novel; "Swimming Lessons" sounds completely different, but I'm expecting to like it all the same!
I went off Jodi Picoult's writing for a good few years, but in this one she seems to have returned to her early stages of writing (courtroom) and so I quite like that.
I loved Our Endless Numbered Days, and am keen to see if/how much I love Swimming Lessons.
I recently read my first (and second) Picoult and enjoyed them enough that I want to read more by her. I need to lower my TBR mountain first though. You can see my week here. Happy reading!

ReplyDeleteYou and me both, Brandie - I'm over half way through, and can see why there has been so much buzz surrounding it.
